How it works

Flooring planned around the wall

Adjustable walls change angle in single-degree increments, from vertical to steep overhanging climbing. Flooring helps support that training environment, keeping the wall approachable and easier to use.

Impact Support

Multi-layered and multi-density foam options help attenuate falls across the intended fall zone.

Cordura® Covers

EverActive® and Kumiki flooring options use durable 600 or 1000 Denier Cordura® covers, depending on product type.

Finished Edges

Fall zone edging can include hard or soft curbs, ramps, squared-off sides, or inlaid transitions.

Custom facility flooring

Kumiki Climbing Flooring Systems

Kumiki Climbing Flooring Systems use multi-density foam layers over a vapor barrier. Edges of each foam piece are glued together for a uniform fall zone, then covered in 1000 Denier Cordura®.

  • Many color options are available to match the facility design.
  • Options for fall zone edging include hard or soft curbs, ramps, or squared-off sides.
  • Seating can be built in for climbers to put on shoes.
  • Flooring can be inlaid into the sub-floor to reduce tripping hazards, depending on the building stage.
  • Transitions between flooring and surrounding floors can be customized for the space and use.
